Urban Photo Collective, first meeting
The first meeting of Urban Photo Collective was on July 17th 2006 where the idea of the Rotterdam Urban Photo Collective originated. It was a hot summer night, with people on terraces at Hotel New York and Strand aan de Maas.
I told Laura who was with me that evening that I always shoot with a theme in mind to get a focus, tonight would be ‘Hot Urban Summer Nights in the city’, something that’s rare in a city like Rotterdam. There is so much to photograph and it is so much fun and there is so much to learn when photographing together… I had to continue this vibe.
